Hi, I'm Johnna Cornett. I'm in my 40s, married with a handful of primary to mutual-aged children. I live between San Francisco and San Jose in California.
My primary connection to Mormon Literature is as an enthusiast, reader, and buyer of books. Also, I attended BYU for a couple years in the 1980s, where I took fiction writing from Darryl Spencer and attended Eugene England lectures. Then I transferred to UCLA and became a true-blue Bruin, where I graduated in Linguistics, not Literature. I have a side interest in Uzbek literature.
I'm a SAHM and website hobbyist. I'm on the board at Segullah and do their website (
http://segullah.org).
Mormon Lit favs: short stories, Donald R. Marshall, Zinna Henderson, Brandon Sanderson, Orson Scott Card, Neal Chandler, William Shunn, Eileen Gibbon Gump--I only know her from "Sayso or Sense," Paris Anderson, and Bela Petsco.
