We're excited to announce the following restructuring at Irreantum: Valerie Holladay will be taking on the responsibility of fiction contest coordinator (which she finds is a better fit with her current demanding career and home life). Angela Hallstrom will take Valerie's place as co-editor of Irreantum. Thanks so much Valerie for your work on Irreantum and for your current work as the AML fiction contest coordinator.

In addition Kathleen Dalton-Woodbury will fill the new role of managing editor for Irreantum. We're particularly excited for her to bring her considerable administrative capabilities to bear on Irreantum's coordination and publication.

Angela Hallstrom has an MFA in fiction from Hamline University and has served on the editorial boards of The Water-Stone Review and Segullah. She joined Irreantum's staff in 2004, working as fiction editor and later assistant editor under Laraine Wilkins. After Laraine's death, she stepped in as interim editor for Irreantum's Poetry issue. Her fiction has won awards from the Utah Arts Council, and her novel, Bound on Earth, was published in February of 2008. She lives with her husband and four children in South Jordan, Utah.

Kathleen Dalton-Woodbury joined the AML board at the beginning of Cherry Silver's presidency in 2001. She became acting president four years later, and has also worked as AML webmaster, mail clerk, membership secretary, substitute AML list moderator, and acting treasurer. She was the publisher and editor of the monthly newsletter of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Workshop for 266 of its 300 issues, and has had six short stories published in various anthologies.
