My name is Darlene Young and I'm an AML-oholic.

I live in South Jordan with hubby and four sons and one male cat. I think AML is fantastic and would do just about anything to keep it going, expand its presence, and magnify its membership until it fills every corner of the earth. I credit it for bringing me from the level of Passionate Advocate for the Improvement of Mormon Literature to Aspiring Contributor to the State of Mormon Letters. In other words, I began as a fan and, wanting to contribute to the conversation, started to write just because I had the members of AML as an audience. I write poetry, short stories, and just recently FINISHED A NOVEL!!!!!!

Um--oh yeah. I'm female. And, uh, rapidly approaching 40. (37, to be exact.) I actually don't mind getting old(er). Because I am only just beginning to feel like a grownup.
